Hope Wesleyan AWANA Clubs
Discipline Policy

The three-count is a method for disciplining an individual clubber who continues to misbehave after repeated correction; this method follows the three-strikes-you’re out philosophy.

If a child has been given the three count and continues to misbehave, then a leader take the child out of the group setting and goes into the church office with him/her. Also, a slip will be sent home with the child that evening about his/her behavior and must be returned signed by the parent before the child is allowed back into the group setting.

After a child has been given two separate three-count and slips have been signed and returned by the parents, and the problems sill continue, then on the third time, the parent will be called and asked to come and pick up his child for church.

Yes, I have read the above discipline policy of the Awana Clubs at Hope Wesleyan Church and have reviewed it with my children and will cooperate with the church in enforcing this policy.
