Kaitlynn Haefner
Kaitlynn grew up in Alburnett, Iowa and she came to know Christ in 3rd grade at Cedar Springs Church Camp. From then on, she was heavily involved with her church, and felt called to Indiana Wesleyan University during a youth conference. Kaitlynn attended IWU and graduated in 2018 with a Psychology degree.
In 2018, Kaitlynn took a job as a Christian Education Director at a church in Vinton, IA where she met her husband, Wesley. She never knew God would use her in ministry, but always felt that her true passions were working and helping in the church. In October 2023, Kaitlynn took the position of Student Ministries Director at Hope Wesleyan. She and Wesley are both thrilled to do ministry in Independence with children, teens, and families.
Kaitlynn’s favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 30:21, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
